Someone asked me how I could write in my native language and then translate this amount of material into three different languages in the short amount of time I had available.

I replied that knowledge of these languages is a necessary but not sufficient condition, as using the traditional method would take much longer, particularly when dealing with unusual topics.
I also believe that the best is enemy of the good, even if the good is not too good. I therefore I chose this system:

• Use an online translator https://translate.google.com
• Copy and paste a not too long part of the text into the text to be translated - to fill the frame without having to scroll.
• Copy and paste the resulting machine translation wherever you want it to be, but copy only the text, without formatting.
• verify that meaning and syntax are correct and eventually make changes and modifications

To refine the translation, if the meaning or syntax of the translation doesn't look good, one swaps the two parts, and change the words appropriately in the one to be translated.
In this way, by iterating the inversion process several times, the possible optimum can be achieved. But without exaggerating.

When a higher quality translation is needed, it would be more convenient to carefully examine the form and the syntax, trying to find single terms or common saying in different dictionaries, or online on the web, to find the ones that best suit the topic.
Doing this type of translation doesn't take a few minutes, but a lot more time. And I don't have it ...
