TRAINING BY THE 'CONVERSATION'
'Conversation' is a means of personal training, which is done in group by listening to the speech of a well prepared and trained person .The audience listens in silence, and while listening it's possible to learn, maybe remember so many things that probably already one knows, but has lost in the turmoil of this world, overwhelmed by hedonism, materialism and practical atheism. It's one of the most important means for those who want to enrich their spirit and better direct their lives.
Be formed with good readings
'Reading' is a means of individualtraining, or by group. In the latter case a person reads and others listen in silence, in the other one reads silently his book, as in a library. The most important aspect to consider is the choice of books. Readings can be named 'spiritual' when have religious content, type Bible, Gospels, and The Acts of the Apostles, or Pope encyclical letters and exhortations. A good book should not be tainted by partisanship, but to be truthful and culturally edifying. Today generally we read shortly. while instead reading is essential to avoid falling into a schematic, dryness and thought poverty.
Learn Christian meditation
Meditation is usually, a personal practice of concentrating your mind on objects, images, thoughts (or no object at all). Christian Meditation is more: it's a silent prayer apt to communicate with God. It's not a method or a philosophy to achieve particular physical conditions or estrangement, aiming essentially to ignore the outside, but must be a loving response to God's love; it's a spiritual growth pushing for the relationship to neighbours, to ease the other's pain, help in needs and aiming to increase the Faith. We want that everyone can recognize and love God and practice the charity.
Trying to practice e human virtues
How to acquire and practice virtues? From the Catholic Catechism we read a definition: at point 1804 - the human virtues are firm attitudes, stable dispositions, habitual perfections of intellect and will that govern our actions, order our passions and guide our conduct according to reason and faith. They make possible ease, self-mastery, and joy in leading a morally good life. The virtuous man is who freely practices good. and moral virtues (.. omitted) that are fruit and seed of morally good acts; virtues give the potential of human being to enter in communion with divine Love.
