PHISICS AND MATHEMATICS

The mathematical physics is the scientific discipline that deals with "application of mathematics to problems of physics and development of mathematical methods suitable for the formulation of physical theories and their applications".
At the origins of the scientific method, Galileo stated that "the natural world must be described with its language, and this language is mathematics." Today mathematical physics focuses primarily on developing "basics" of physics, where "base" means the development of a more general possible point of view.

OBJECTIVES: in these pages we would be hosted documented writings and other materials related to mathematics applied to the physical disciplines. To illustrate a concept we start from an elementary of a particular example that then you have to extend the generality of cases.

Example: to explain what is energy we start from the definition of mechanical energy, then extended to all types of energy.

CONTENTS: content can cover every period and every topic.
