Position : Elis Deputy director - Rome
Description: once completed the study of Elis maintenance reorganization in 1994, I was asked to apply it, and also to join the Board as a director.
I accepted and after 2 years had the following results:
- halved the cost of their maintenance, streamlining staff.
- Trained a promising young maintenance leader and did set up a separate office. It was e 'Technician Office' aimed to control the budget, and to design and develop greater works and investments, scoped to apply the statutory requirements (health and safety), and to take care for concessions and government practices.
- Studied and tried to reorganize the whole Elis structure, by auditing of financial and economic trends, and prepared and managed the budget of the year 1997.
- Explained my ideas to their management, particularly with regard to recovery of efficiency loss.
- Reorganized financial office and administrative staff by selecting and setting up the figure of e business ' Controller'.
- Prepared the Budget guidelines and specifications using their coding system, with clear identification of responsibilities in different sectors of their economic activity.
- For the staff management I prepared new assessment methods and revised the tables of salaries and collaboration fees.
