EMPLOYMENT  1991 to 1994 11/18

Position from : AST TERNI . In charge of rationalizing PMA ( Magnetic Steel Production )
Description : took part in two missions with Nippon Steel Corp., I have written specifications and standards of work for ' Global Services ' and contracts applied to sanders maintenance, cranes and other.
Pushed the system of 'Maintenance Engineering' to be effectively more oriented to the plants needs rather than maintenance techniques itself, aiming to improve quality, productivity, and costs.
Made ​​some plants modification, such as a new device for the insulation application on the magnetic steel plate, the increase of speed of an annealing line, and many other small improvements embodiments.
One of the best studies was the implementation of a system for scheduling inspections and works 'just in time', based on fault analysis data and calculating MTTR and MTTF of elementary components. It did run on a local PC taking original data by the OPERATION'S information system.
Note: in 1994 my faer deceased, and I had to take care of e family business , but my moer was en still alive and very collaborative, and I avoided to waste my time on officialdom. At e end of e year I resigned, taking advantage of favorable conditions  ( special law for e steel industry ) .
