The National Association of Volunteers Against Cancer was founded in Milan - italy - in 1984, to give to cancer patients and their families a practical support to alleviate suffering and problems related to this disease.
In the following years the association has expanded in Italy with the opening of several regional delegations; and simultaneously promoting various health information campaigns for the fight against cancer.
The call for action is high, so the association organizes various voluntary courses. It consolidates a collaboration between the association and the hospital Niguarda's Hospital in Milan with nursing conventions, a family counseling program and donation of various specialized equipment to various departments.
